Hi All!
Here’s your weekly On-Track advice, a list of tips and tricks to keep you on track with your goals in life and business.
1. “The downtime is as important as the hustle.” — Unknown
A lot of the topics that I write about on my website encourage you to work hard …
- Continuous Learning is the Key to Entrepreneurial Success
- 7 Ways to Encourage Yourself to Read More Books
- How to Commit to Something and Never Look Back
Though it’s important to hustle, we also need to schedule some downtime for ourselves. The human body isn’t designed to go full steam ahead all the time; Sometimes we need to give ourselves a change to pause and refresh. What helps you recharge throughout the day? How do you wind down at night before you go to bed?
2. “Sometimes it feels so good to just sit by yourself, relax, and not talk to anyone.” — Kristen Butler
Spending time by yourself can be very relaxing, especially if you do something that reduces tension or anxiety. You could read a book, practice meditation, write something, or listen to music. What’s something that helps you relax?
Personally, I can wind down the best when I am by myself and don’t talk to anyone. Taking some quiet time gives me the chance to sit in quiet with my own thoughts and feelings. It helps me figure things out and put my mind at ease.
3. “When the going gets tough, you must keep your head down, remind yourself of your goals, and continue moving.” — Mike van der Poel
This week’s blog post is titled, “How to Develop an Unshaking Sense of Determination in Entrepreneurship“. It shows how you can maintain your focus during challenging times, amongst other things.
There are many characteristics of successful entrepreneurs, but I believe that determination is the most important one. This is because success is always possible for someone who refuses to stop fighting. Failure will never overtake the person whose determination to succeed is strong enough.
Until next week,
Mike van der Poel
P.S. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! 🎅
