Hi All!
As always, here’s your weekly On-Track advice, a list of tips and tricks to stay on track with your goals in life and business.
1. “Intelligent decision-making entails knowing what tools to use for what problem.” — Gerd Gigerenzer
When you’re facing a difficult problem in your life or business, it may be worth looking at the tools you have available. Think for yourself: What resources do you have at your disposal right now? Maybe it’s a good book that’s been sitting on your nightstand or a friend that you recently hung out with. More often than not, the solution to your problems is in plain sight; You just need to search for it and decide to use it.
2. “Sometimes the best solution is the most painful option” ― Dr. Jacinta Mpalyenkana
There are times when you have to take ownership of your life and face your challenges head-on. Let’s say that your business is not making any sales. You can either send a bunch of emails to a large number of prospects and hope for them to reply, or you can pick up the phone and get the same message across while having a warm conversation. Even though the latter is the more painful option, it’s going to lead to more sales.
3. “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t―you’re right.” ― Henry Ford
Better thinking comes from adopting a positive mindset. This means that you’re optimistic about the world around you and that you expect good things will happen to you. It also means that you’re confident you’ll be able to achieve your goals.
Until next week,
